Tonight, we all played outside for a little bit, while Kevin cleared the snow from the driveway. Jack just sat down on his sled and took it all in (in his pink snowsuit!) Then, Lauren and Kev ran around and played for awhile while Jack and I prepared dinner.

Snowy Monday
I was awakened by a call on the bright this morning. I’m an administrator on the ECFE facebook page and the other admin who usually takes care of business in on vacation right now so I needed to step up and put out a message that ECFE was cancelling their classes for today. That’s a big bummer for me because I only teach once per week (Monday nights) and now we’ll probably have to make it up on Presidents day.
We didn’t do a ton today. We watched it snow for awhile. Jack napped a couple of times and Lauren pretended to nap once. We had some leftover birthday cake and I took some pictures and worked on a couple of my projects.
I couldn’t decide which one of Lauren I liked best, so I decided to say “The heck with it!” and just post them all. Which one is your favorite? 1-5
Self portraits aren’t really possible with my 50mm lens, but I thought I’d try it anyway, kinda artsy, I guess? In other news, boy is my hair getting long. It’s time to get it colored, I pulled out 2 white hairs tonight (and an un-nameable number of white ones last week!) These kids are making me age, or could it just be time?

30
I feel like I should reflect or wax poetic or something. However, I don’t have a way with words and my writing quality has definitely gone to the dogs in the past few years, so I’ll spare you my drivel.
A wise woman once said that the 30’s are the best decade of your life because you are young enough that you can still have fun and do all of the things you didn’t have the money to do while in your 20’s. Let’s hope that proves true. So, here’s to the the best decade…

Babies!
Today, Kevin and I got to meet the new babies of the cul-de-sac. They were born yesterday (which I find very funny to write and say as it isn’t often you can!) Then, we went out (without the kids!!) for dinner and a movie to celebrate my birthday tomorrow.
Saturday
Here’s Jack getting some Gaga love and Lauren wrestling with her Daddy. She kind of resembles ‘cousin it’ in this picture.
I love Jack’s little kissy face. I can’t wait until he can give kisses back! Lauren is at the age now that she will ask for a kiss and a hug before I leave to go someplace and it’s very sweet.
As for the picture above, Lauren had to be pinned down in a leg lock in order for me to snap it. She’s like a fricken whirling dervish!

Thursday
Today, was pajama day at school. Lauren was very excited to wear her new PB&J jammies to school.
We also had Phil, Janet, Mark and Janet’s mom over for dinner tonight. This is our last picture of Mark, our godson before he becomes a big brother. Phil and Janet will be having their twins tomorrow! Good luck guys.

Tuesday/31 weeks
This little girl is 3.5 years old today. She celebrated her half birthday at school (since she’s a summer birth) with cupcakes for her friends.
Then, there’s this little (BIG) guy. It’s pretty much impossible to get his weekly picture now-a-days as he loves to devour the paper. He’s also quite particular in letting us know what he wants. He’s very vocal when we take things away from him that he may have been enjoying.
See, he’s clearly 31 weeks old?
See a trend?

7 months
Jack sure does love his feet. He also loves his Sophie (the giraffe,) eating, pulling hair, and watching his sailboats float (his crib mobile.)

30 Weeks
I’m still trying to figure out my new camera. I have several books that I need to read, but never seem to find the time. I should probably start with my manual and then wipe 2 years of dust off of my photoshop book so I can fix my bad pictures. I’m having difficulty with colors/white balance/lighting.

The Children’s Museum
We didn’t let Jack ride the train for long, I just wanted the photo.
Here are a couple of older ones from the Museum that I discovered on my point and shoot camera. I’ve been using my new dSLR almost exclusively, so I’ve forgotten about these.
