Lauren was Anna from the movie Frozen.
Jack was the boy who lived.
We surprised the kids with an 8 day cruise (and their friends, and ours joined us there.) It was a blast. But, you’ve already seen all of the photos, so here’s a short recap!
Then, there’s this guy. He won the cruise hands down. Every time we saw him he was wearing his captain hat and having the time of his life. I couldn’t resist snapping a photo of his photo. We about died laughing when we saw it.
Jack and I had to start early as I had a bunch to make for a benefit/silent auction this weekend.
Here’s the final product. Yum!
Today, I did my first ever half-century ride (50 MILES!!) It was called the “hilly half century” and boy was it. I also happened to do it on my elliptigo (elliptical bike) which may have made it a bit more challenging.
The kids had their marathon soccer day today (3 games in one day.) It’s always arctic/rainy/snowy on this day every year and today was no exception. However, they did have a giant gummy snake to keep them going (courtesy of the MN’s largest candy store stop yesterday.)
Before the race After
Then, Jack and I cheered Kev & Lauren on in the 1 mile race. They were much faster than last time Lauren ran a mile race, we were surprised to see them come in so quickly.
Afterward, there were some fun family activities. We wanted to take the kids on a tour of the capitol building (like they had advertised) but no one seemed to know where they started from.
