Another trip to the Dentist

IMG_1941IMG_1943IMG_1942

Lauren loves to go to the dentist because they have an awesome castle to play in and the chair rides are fun.  I love it that she loves the dentist.

This picture makes me laugh.

This is our new weekly photo shoot theme: scream fest.

Tuesday/Valentine’s Day

IMG_2464IMG_1935IMG_1939

Today was Lauren’s Valentine’s day party at pre-school.  She was soooooo excited to give her valentines to her friends.  Once we got home from school, she was excited to devour some of her loot.

Sleepy Bean

IMG_1929

I should say sweaty bean, boy that girl gets hot and sweaty when she sleeps.  I had to take a picture of her little bedtime play land.  She was having quite the good time in bed before falling asleep (so it seems.)

3? weeks

IMG_2409IMG_2367IMG_2383

Just kidding, it’s 33, but can you tell?  It’s pretty hard to make out with Jack’s giant mouth covering the numbers.  I imagine him saying, “Om nom nom!” in the 3rd picture.

“Hey, this isn’t that yummy paper!”                            “Give it back, now, now I tell you. I want it back!!”

IMG_2414IMG_2418

“Curse you, curse you, you old wench!!!”                                                 “Oh, thanks, this will do.”

Another Monday

IMG_2304IMG_2309IMG_2313

It was an uneventful weekend.  The Packers won (boo!) but Lauren played nicely @ Phil & Janet’s while we watched the game (and the twins, squee!)  Kevin dropped our delicious appetizer in their entryway and it exploded everywhere in a giant taco ring bomb. :-(

Here are a couple of pictures of our morning.  Lauren decided to “take a nap” with Jack’s blankets in the living room.  Jack just played with his sensory balls and bead mover.

Valentines

IMG_2236IMG_2246IMG_2250

Tonight, Lauren and I assembled her Valentines for her pre-school classmates.  I’m fairly certain that I went a little nutso with this project and maybe should have kept it simpler, but I was excited, what can I say?

IMG_2260IMG_2264

The assembly was the last part of many many steps.

First, we took about 75 millions pictures to get “THE” picture (this above one isn’t it.)  Then, I had to figure out how to use photoshop (ok, still working on that.  I used a template for the card and it was hard enough to figure out how to insert the darn photo) to make the actual card.   After they were printed, (2 per 4x6 photo as a cost saver) I had to slice them with the exact-o knife and insert the sucker.

Get it?  It looks like she’s handing you the sucker.

Here they are.  The little heart that she signed her name on is on the backside of the valentine card.  I sure hope her friends think it’s cute.  If not, at least we had fun counting out the treats and stuffing them in the bag.

Here’s one of Lauren talking on the phone (and looking particularly devilish.)
