Fun nails

I wanted to do something fun for my half-marathon coming up this weekend.  I think it turned out all right!  It wasn’t even that hard.

Lauren’s open house

Tonight, was Lauren’s open house.  Here she is with the pumpkin we decorated.  The class with the most participation in the pumpkin decorating won a prize.

Crazy Hair day

Lauren celebrated crazy hair day at school today.  She read 400 minutes in the month of September (so she “made the 400 club” and celebrated by participating in crazy hair day at school.)  Jack didn’t want to be left out of the fun, so he got a little purple spray too.  Kevin even had purple stripes in his hair when he volunteered to help with math stations.

Fall fun

Today, for MOMS club we had a fun fall activity.  We got to go on a hay ride, pick a pumpkin and do many other fun things.  Jack picked out just the perfect pumpkin.

dress up

We found Lauren’s Halloween costume and a suit for Jack tonight.  Both, were things they really needed.

“Unca Noel”

Lauren was completely psyched to see her Uncle Noel again.  Jack had no clue what he was in for but followed Lauren’s lead and was excited too.  Well, it took Jack all of about 4 seconds to cozy up to “Unca Noel” and give him lots of love.  Kevin and I were equally excited for some quality time with Noel as  he doesn’t come back to MN as often as everyone would like.  We were able to enjoy an entire day with Noel and it was fantastic.

Everyone had a good time at the playground, even the overgrown man-children.

We enjoyed some sushi and hibachi food-tainment for dinner and it was splendid.

After Noel left at around 11:30 pm it took Kevin about 13 seconds to say,  “Man, I miss Noel!”  Thanks for the visit “Unca Noel” The first words out of Jack’s mouth the next morning were, “Where’s Unca Noel?”

My 1st iPhone

Yes, laugh all you want, but I finally got an iPhone.  It was worth setting the alarm for 2am a few days ago as I may be the first person I know to receive it (and a gold one at that!)  So far, the switch has been pretty painless and I’m enjoying it.
