First night of soccer

The second photo above is somewhat telling of Lauren’s first night of soccer.  The team is huddled around the coach listening intently, and Lauren is slightly oblivious.  Of course, it got better as the night went on.  I’m sure by the end of the “season” she’ll be a semi-pro and will totally know what is going on.  At one point during the game portion of the evening there were 6 girls about 3 feet away from our blanket on the field all giggling and trying to get the ball.  It was extremely adorable!

I took this last one from the other side of the field.  My zoom lens finally came in handy again (it’s been many months since I’ve last used it.)  Overall, she had a good time and that’s what matters.
