Today, Kevin volunteered at the homeless shelter again. We made some yummy cookies while he was gone. Jack really enjoyed eating the peanut butter chips (but not the chocolate ones, hmmm?) The cookies had pretty much every flavor of “chip” in them except mint and cherry (and I would have put the cherry in there if I could have found them.) They were delicious! Lauren is a big helper I the kitchen (when she chooses to be.)
Today, was also one of those wonderful days when the children like each other and play together for a little bit. It was so nice. It enabled me to get the cookies baked and dispersed onto the rest of the cookie sheets without little fingers getting into the way.
