Jack managed to not BUST his egg that he brought to school for E day.  We hard boiled it to help, but you never know!

Happy Birthday Kevin

 

We seem to have an unfortunate tradition going for us this year.  It seems that we’ve spent every birthday in the hospital.  We spent mine in the ER for Lauren.  Now we’ve spent Kevin’s in Sioux Falls for my Grandpa.  I’m beginning to dread the kids’ birthdays this summer if this pattern continues.  Anyhow, over the long weekend (Friday/Monday off from school) we did some celebrating as well as visiting Great Grandpa Jack.

 

Kev’s favorite=Shogun.  Kev’s most favorite=Texas Roadhouse.  We celebrated both Kevin and Elizabeth’s birthday that night.

the Scheel’s store in SF is EPIC!  They have a Ferris wheel and a play climber area plus a ton of really cool photo op’s.  We will definitely go and shop there again.

 

A treat for two really well behaved in the hospital children.  They were such troopers with spending both days (most of the day) in the hospital.

Happy Pi Day

 

We celebrated Pi day with some actual pie from a new store in St. Peter.  This photo actually made it onto Kare11’s website and newscast in celebration of Pi day.

We also checked out the new Cinderella movie this afternoon.  Both kids seemed to enjoy it and Lauren snagged their last poster in her Cinderella costume. 

Weather!?

My poor weather confused lil man!!  He wasn’t sure what to make of today.  It was warm but he felt like he needed to wear a coat.  He also didn’t like the sun and borrowed Lauren’s sunglasses.  We eventually made our way to the store to get him a new pair. :)

Father/Daughter & Mother/son dance

Today was both the Father/Daughter dance and the Mother/Son pizza party dance.  It was the 1st year for the mother/son event and Jack seemed to have a good time dancing and eating pizza.

Crimpy Hair McGee

Lauren wanted her hair crimpy today so we wet braided it yesterday.
