Saturday

Lauren and Daddy are playing “kung fu” with Kevin’s socks here (which really amounts to swinging them around and trying to hit each other…yay!)  I hopped up on to the coffee table to take some pictures of them, then, Lauren had to copy me. OOPS!

Later, Lauren and Jackson decided to hang onto Daddy’s legs while he helped out in the kitchen.  It was very adorable to see.

After that, Jack texted all his baby friends about how nice it was to be rid of his pants and Lauren prepared May baskets for some neighborhood friends.

Thursday

Today, Lauren woke up from her nap (yeah, she’s been napping again lately…nice!) with what looked like dried blood around her nostril and a little by her mouth.  She didn’t complain of hurting herself when I asked her if she was ok.  There was also a spot of blood on her bed sheet.  I hope she isn’t taking after her father (who is prone to nosebleeds.)  Poor bean, although she must not have hurt herself, because she’s quite the drama queen, I’m fairly certain I would have heard about it.

Tuesday

Lauren and Jackson are starting to play together more often.  It’s quite sweet to see.  In these pictures they were playing peek a boo with each other in the curtains.  I don’t really like them to play in the curtains, but had to let it go, because it was soo sweet to see.  Of course, I didn’t get the video in time to see/hear the hilarious giggling from Jack and the loud cackling from Lauren.

Here is a video of them after they finished playing peek-a-boo.  Jack is trying to empty his drawers and Lauren is attempting some cartwheels (getting better too.)  I will definitely use my flip video camera from now on.  My P&S’s video is looking a bit grainy.

Hoppy Easter

Here is Lauren on her mad dash to find as many eggs as possible.

Here is Jack on his.  If he could have been a little bit faster, he would’ve found the egg hidden at the base of the gate.

This is what I get for trying to take pictures at high noon, I know better.  I knew we should have done them before mass, but Lauren’s hair was still wet.  Now we have none…

After our photo shoot of doom (and sun) we headed over to the Larson’s to celebrate Easter and our Godson’s birthday.

The Easter bunny also made a visit.  He hid an egg in our tree forest, but I had to move it, Lauren definitely would have hurt herself getting it out.  Inside of the Matilda Jane bag is a soccer ball that Lauren has been asking about for awhile now.  Maybe she’ll be good at it, she likes to run and kick things.
