It’s the beanitude!!
Today, Lauren and I met our friends at the Waseca water park for the itty bitty beach party (for kids under 7,) while Daddy stayed home with the Sprout. Lauren had a blast for and hour and 15 minutes and then decided she was super cold and needed to “make a tent” to warm up. Once she was warm, we headed back into the water and made a breakthrough in the “jumping into the water” department. She FINALLY jumped into the water (into my arms) without having to hold on to my hand or hands while jumping. She was really excited and so was this mama!
We celebrated with some Ron Don’s (what she calls McDonald’s.) We put all of the kids together at one table (and then we sat on the other side of the restaurant, hahahah only kidding.) They sure do look big sitting there all by themselves.
Good job Lauren,I'm so proud of you. You look way to grown up sitting in that booth with your friends.

Congratulations, Lauren. We've all been waiting a long time for you to trust us and the water long enough to jump in like that. You're becoming a little more independent every day.
