We raised the children up on the bright this morning (5am) in hopes that it would be early enough for them to go back to sleep in the van. It did work, but it took awhile for them to nod off. We’re calling it a success though, and will probably do it again on long trips. We took the kids for a train ride on the North Shore Scenic Railroad upon arrival in Duluth. It was something I never experienced while living there, so it was fun enough for all.
Lauren had to go potty while we were on board and she was slightly concerned about the weird toilet. I was more concerned that I had to go too and the window beside the potty was NOT frosted. Helloooooo world!
