Today, we took Lauren to her “first” wedding. She’s been to her Auntie Tiffany’s wedding (she was a flower girl) but, she was under 2 years old and doesn’t really remember it. When we first got the invite to my friend Reanna’s wedding, I was excited about the night out (without the kids.) But, then all of my mama friends in this group said they were going to bring their kids and turn it into a giant kid-fest (there were over 80 kids on the guest list!!) So I changed my mind and we brought Lauren along for the festivities. There was no way I was bringing Jack though (at his age and stage of development he wouldn’t have been happy to sit and a wedding or reception isn’t the best place for a crawling/cruising little trouble maker like him.) Lauren had a blast dancing and eating and seeing many of her friends. We should have taken a big group pic of them.
Here’s one of Lauren trying to squeeze a hug out of her friend Elliot (the one that moved to Chicago last year!) Lauren has become much more affectionate with her friends after going to pre-school this year. I think she learned some love from her friends Marleigh, Keana & Clara who are all a bit more ‘huggy’ than her.
So many lovely photo's.....the kiddo's sure are growing up fast. Doesn't seem like Jack is almost a year already. Nice the kids are good pals. Love to all.
